Linda was born in Ostrava but most of her childhood she spent in the southern Bohemia in a small town called Bechyně. Since 2005 she has lived and worked in Prague in the Czech Republic.
There Linda was painting and also teaching Art at the International school Riverside in Prague. Linda graduated from The High school of Applied Arts focused on ceramics. Later on, she finished her Masters at South Bohemian University in České Budějovice.
During the past 10 years, she also became a mum of three amazing kids.
Typical features of my work are the use of palette knife, colors, and textures. I like abstraction but I also feel the natural transition from realism and continuous development of my style. Except for my favorite streets, where I am impressed by the smell and unique vibrations and dynamics of each place, my work also includes landscapes, figures, African images, and others. My style could be predominantly defined as a use of texture, capturing the atmosphere whilst looking for simplicity.
I love to travel and learn from other nations, their traditions, or just the little moments in our daily routines, which makes the moment of life incomparable and irreplaceable.
The art medium for me is the use of oil on canvas with a combination of natural charcoal sketching.
